To Indonesia and Beyond
Long time no post.
Well, if you’re reading this, THANK YOU for taking the time to stop on by.
Update:
COLLEGE:
I’ve now completed 3 years at Hillsong College as a student. Well, nearly. I’m done with classes & have 1 review to turn in & that’s it in terms of the school part. And then recently, and in this coming week, we have ALL HANDS ON DECK in preparation for Hillsong Conference 2010. All students and staff (and countless volunteers everywhere) have been putting in their time and effort (and PRAYERS) to get ready to host delegates (those attending) from all parts of the globe.
Here’s a glimpse into last year’s conference opener:

Can’t WAIT to see what the team has planned for us THIS year.

What else?
The new Hillsong CD: Beautiful Exchange is about to drop.

We also just completed this year’s HEART FOR THE HOUSE.
It’s so seriously worth reading about, so be sure to click HERE to be inspired & challenged.

What else? Um… my student visa expires soon and very soon. Until around then, I’ll be here in Sydneytown. May even try and stay through graduation (late Nov/early Dec). We’ll see. Haven’t come to the final decision just yet.
But between now and then, I’ll be taking a little trip to INDONESIA AND MALAYSIA!!! I have the privilege of going with a team from our college. And while we’re there, we’ll be leading worship, visiting some orphanages, eating lots of Asian food, among many things.
You can help me get there by clicking RIGHT HERE via our pals at paypal. Most of what I need to raise is said and done, but I just have a FEW more things (visa, shots, and the like) that I need to cover.
It’s been World Cup / Vuvuzela madness, esp. right here within our student body, as we have students from over 50 nations who attend this college. So can you imagine the energy and excitement? Pretty spectacular, actually. If you ask if I pull for Australia or USA or S. Korea, I’d say that I have been pre-occupied trying to keep up with ANOTHER sport. HA! Try and guess.
OH! What? Did someone say TENNIS?!?!?! That’s right. It’s Wimbledon time. Sadly, this is again the 4th yr in a row that I don’t get to WATCH the matches due to the lack of tv channels & time difference. I keep up as best as I can via the official Wimbledon website and following THIS guy. If you like tennis at all, he’s worth following, since he’s the SI tennis dude. PLUS, his tweets are unbiased & entertaining. I SO wish I could’ve seen SOME of that Mahut/Isner match while in progress ANY of those 3 epic days. hahaha. What a win for tennis!!!
Well, I think that’s about it. No other nuggets for this entry.
If I remember anything else, I’ll write some more… maybes.
XOXO.
